This instrument changed how I hear trumpets. 

Of course it  is a  gorgeous show-stopper with its copper bell and lavish engraving, and I suspected it would be a good horn, but I was surprised to find out just how much I enjoyed playing it.  The Olds Recording has a beautiful, brilliant tone and an easy, natural response to match, but where my heart started beating was in its upper registers where it doesn't scream, but sings!  It could be a good all-purpose trumpet for college or the go-to performer for commercial recording.  We had the valves rebuilt on this trumpet so they are lightening fast and ready for a professional player.  This trumpet, although vintage, will last for many more years with good care.
